The Shellyard is a large debris field that is situated above the northern ocean of Nu Earth. It acquired it's name from both the "shells" and "husks" of ships that float around constantly and from the occasional human orbital cannon shelling that gets fired into it. Many of the ships have cargo and equipment are still in perfect shape, but all the ships are useless for other than scrap metal. Detectors cannot get clear readings from here because of all the exposed reactors and active weapons.
