Miles upon miles of sands. Water sources are stretched far apart. Several small shelters can be found in its expanse. Nothing can be seen in any direction. This place is no land for the living. Small ship skeletons can be found here if one was to look hard enough. It is essential to have water to survive long here.

At the Desert, no living human nor Alien could, would live in such a desolate place.
To learn more things about this newly found planet, the Templars have sent Multiple Skull Probes, to find Intel on this Rock.
In the Night sky, one would see a huge light, as if there was a Shooting star. It crashed. It was a Drop Pod, there several Skull Probes were Released and started their reconnaissance of the known parts of the Planet NU earth.

A few miles away, three Ospreys' were heading on a reconnaissance mission.
"Okay Goose 7, proceed to Sector 101IN2LZ and rendezvous with Alpha Bravo Tango, over"
"Copy that HQ"
A few minutes of silence pass, before the radio cracks open again.
"Watch your sector Goose 3, it's getting a little tight in here"
"Copy"
Silence, once again.
"Anyone out there got a good view of the LZ yet?"
"Negative Goose 7, I can see some activity, but uhh, I can't see what it is"
It soon became pretty clear that the activity they saw was made by the something that isn't native. They landed on the clear ground, and 7 soldiers popped out of each Osprey, totaling 21 soldiers. They all aimed their weapons at one of those... things, with one of them reporting to both Black Mesa and Santego Military Base.

As they aimed there sights at the Probe.
The Probe sent Graphic Images, of Hostile Forces.
If they Do destroy it. Orbital Bombardment from the Immortal Chosen
will Bombard the Location of all Probes in that Area, Destroying any signs of life.
One of the Probes moved towards the vehicle in a slow pace.
From its mouth a small Las Cannon Maybe seen.
Directing it toward the Machine.

One of the soldiers noticed the probe. And the weapon. Taking aim at the skull probe, he was quick to fire several shots towards it.
