(Note: I never really intended for Krukov to play a major part but seeing as his role has come forward somewhat I decided I should put him up here)
==================================================
Name: General Krukov
Alliance: Soviets
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Age: 57
Height: 5 feeet 8 inches
Weight: 140 lbs
Weapons: Olga, an expensive new age solid munition weapon based around archaic revolver designs
Equipment: Krukov wears the deceptively thin soviet composite armour beneath his tunic, one of the few things the soviets actually designed well, it has been proven to absorb a magazine from a fully automatic weapon at point blank range.
Abilities: When Krukov is forced to get his hands dirty his calm
approach to combat sees him snapping off unerringly precise shots with Olga.
Skills: Like most Soviet commanders the forces under Krukov's command have high attrition rates, however he provides the results to match
Strengths: Krukov's solid shock and awe tactics have a high cost man power wise but also yield the results to match and he recognises the importance of tactical assets unlike most of his peers.
Weaknesses: Krukov is utterly immoveable politicly, as far as he is concerned he does things the way the union dictates because there is simply no viable alternative he is also a stickler for honor.
Appearance:
Personality: Krukov has an insatiable, albeit well deserved sense of pride which many find over bearing, he has no time for boot licks or sycophants of any discription. He is a true Soviet patriot. Nevertheless, he often makes the mistake of underestimating his enemies, and has shown to be unwilling to recognize any superior abilities of his peers, opponents and subordinates.
History: Like all of the soviet high command Krukov was earmarked for power at a very young age, however unlike most of his peers he recognised that he had no particular tactical aptitude and religiously read every military codex and historical military dossier he had access to, of course it was diffcult to apply his tactical knowlege at first, making the result of his first major battle a pyrrhic victory, but a victory none-the-less.His ability to apply these tactics has grown and he compensates for his inability to micro-manage by employing high cost low risk high return tactics which suit the structure of the red army, he has developed a perference for shock and awe tactics as they take full advantage of the soviets masses of troops and armoured vehicles. His ability to take advantage of the red armies strengths and compensate for it's weaknesses has earnt Krukov so many medals that they seem to form a brightly coloured scale-mail chest piece.
Introduction:
The infamous red tape strikes again! No soviet intel for you!
