5 overloard dropships came from the sky and landed. Dozens of Helghast were pouring out. In one of the dropships a Mech warrior stepped out. It was Draeth. He ran to Hark.

The Rogue Comet mercs were dead center of the blast. Most of them already wounded and dying, only three stumbled hust out of range and were still blown clear a dozen or mroe yards. Banks and two of the mercenary veterans laid on the ground, staring at the violance all around them. "Well shit Cpl, looks liek we're not the baddest on the block."
Banks laughed and moved to lay his back against a small boulder. "Well soldiers, we're mercs, you can stay here and fight for that last paycheck or give up." He raised his handgun at one of the slowly approaching helghast soldiers. He half heartedly fired a round at the man, knowing full well he wasn't going to survive. The other veterans leaned up and fired with their assault rifles and took the soldier down, but gave notice to the rest of the soldier's squad that they were hostile. One of the mercs lit a cigarette and passed it to the other, taking a hit to the chest after and bleeding out on the snow. Banks and the survivor fired at the soldiers as they successfully scored hit after hit on the wounded men.
Rogue Comet Commander Avrit sat in his usual command chair. The operations officer piped up, "Commander, the mercenaries dispatched to the Nomads are all wiped out now, no survivors." Avrit started laughing, "They weres still alive? I left them to die a while ago. Give me a scan of their last known position and enemy anallysis. Their meaningless lives gotta be worth the combat data." He swiveled on his chair and went back to playing around on his computer, his military inexperience taking precendence over his ability to lead.

The Soviet officer knew that they were pushing their luck now,having no knowledge of where their targets were now he decided it was best to withdraw,he requested a rendezvous with a squadron of vultures and had his column of vehicles begin trundling back towards the red menace.

(may I just point out that the Soviet faction isn't Russian -_- and can you please post a Helghast vehicles thread? I don't have a clue what I'm fighting)
"Shit!"the officer yelled as the overlord peppered the V4 armour with machinegun fire and an array of panicked voices requested orders,he had to think fast,the helghast had already accounted for one v4 and he wasn't about to let them claim another he quickly checked the map,they were nearing the rendezvous point, he quickly contacted the officer in charge of the vulture squadron and had them head towards the v4 columns location,it was still quite a distance but with both groups of vehicles heading towards one another they might just make it.
The vultures where just coming into veiw when another V4 exploded into a fireball,this was going to be a close call,then the officer in charge of the vultures calmly uttered
"targets confirmed", the vultures began firing their fearsome weaponry,blanketing the sky in high calibre bullets and two overlords dropped from the sky a few seconds later as the vultures lived up to their reputation,no bomber was well armoured enough and no fighter was fast enough.A third came down but not before it had obliterated another V4 however the bravery of the helghast pilots was in vain the remaing overlords were picked out of the sky and another mark added to the vultures viscous reputation,the officer congratulated the men in his charge on a job well done and all six vehicles trundled onwards towards the red menace.
"stupid bastards" one of the vulture crewmen said over the comm-link "flying straight into our beaten zone like that"
"the fallen humans do strange things." responded a rather shaken V4 crewman.

They might of had flaws. said a pilot. They were sending more and more OverLord Dropships by the second. The Vultures instantly obliterated by a Mobile ARC cannon. "Bastards!" the V4 commander yelled,he didn't understand,the fallen humans could've wped out both the V4's and the vultures in one fell swoop yet they had not,they were either very stupid or they had a more insidious motive,he check the map display again,the holographic image was very glitchy so he hit the panel with a practiced thump and it came into focus,they were only about a mile outside of the red menace's beaten zone...just two minutes away "we will not shame the premier by dying this day comrades" he said into the comm-link.

This is White Death ordering ARC towers A-D to fire. ordered White Death. The ARC towers fired. The result was devastating. The helghast started to cheer. For Helghan! Long live Visari! they screamed. The ARC towers to the helghast were a amazing sight to behold. The ARC towers just bombarded the V4s leaving nothing spared from there fury.

"I have a fix!" a rather excitable junior officer said,the helghasts over-zealous use of their ARC towers had allowed the soviets to pin point their locations even from the red menace,and now the helghast were going to pay the price they had succeeded in destroying a soviet pawn but had exposed a more vital peice of their own.
"bring them down" The C.O. said "and don't take any chances I want 2 V4s targeting every tower."
"affermitive" The V4 batteries released a volley of savage V4 mssiles which brought down the ARC towers which the enemy had so enthusiasticly revealed crushing any helghast and vehicles unlucky enough to be hit by the falling detritus
a cheer wet up from the soviet nerve center which had ordered the bombardment.
"take that,you bald bastards." the C.O. mused to himself.

2 ARC towers were destroyed. "Power up the shields" said White Death. Once he said that the remaining ARC towers were under the protection of the shields. "Now get a fix on that position and have it blown to pieces with Artillery

(Strange I seem to remember a certain someone "just saying" my vultures were destoryed, besides with nasty shit like those ARC towers you're lucky I didn't break out the nukes.I'm quite happy to leave this skirmish here, but If you choose to try and blow up my command center it's going to escalate to full scale war.)
